The Office of Information Technology is pleased to announce the availability of a new Password Self-Service for all Students, Employees, and Affiliates of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga called Identity and Access Management (IAM). This system will allow you to manage your utcID password safely and securely. This is done by visiting https://iam.utc.edu where you will login using your utcID and password. Benefits:

  • Reset your password if you’ve forgotten it. There’s no need to contact Client Services for future password resets.

  • Create challenge and response questions to verify your identity.
  • Always available 24×7 from any computer with an internet connection.
  • Keeps your password the same for services like email, wireless, utcOnline, and others across campus.
In addition to this new service we are also announcing that Student’s MocsMail + will now be updated with your University password when you change your password through https://iam.utc.edu. This means that when you update your password at https://iam.utc.edu it will update your password so that you can configure your mobile devices to be in sync with your University password.
