You can subscribe to The UTC Live Near Your Work Program is partnering with the Chattanooga Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., to sponsor a Homeownership Workshop here at UTC on Thursday, April 16, 2009, at 8:00 p.m. in the UC Auditorium. This is a community event, and we wish to invite the UTC campus, including students, to learn more about how to become a homeowner. Information on home-buying, financing a mortgage, tax credits, and other useful details about making a home purchase will be available at this workshop. The guest speaker is Ms. Lori Gibbs, Vice President of Affordable Housing and Industry Affairs for Genworth Financial. She has great information and a dynamic presentation. We encourage you to come out, and to encourage students to attend as it is not too early for them to learn about investing for their future.
