Stephanie Sullivan (’08) and Brett Phillips tied the knot at UTC’s Patten Chapel on March 28, 2009.  While a student at UTC, Stephanie was involved in several organizations including Golden Key, Mortar Board and the Student Alumni Council.

Their wedding party included Adrianne Notebaerdt, Kay Lauren Sullivan, Lindsay Roga, Rob Martin (’08), Frank Taylor, and Mike Roga.

The couple now resides in Chattanooga where Stephanie is employed at Southside Creative Group.

March 16, 2009(FHTNC)–Navy Seaman Thomas A. Davis (’08)  recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois.

During the eight-week program, Davis completed a variety of training which included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety. An emphasis was also placed on physical fitness.

The capstone event of boot camp is “Battle Stations”. This exercise gives recruits the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the fleet. “Battle Stations” is designed to galvanize the basic warrior attributes of sacrifice, dedication, teamwork and endurance in each recruit through the practical application of basic Navy skills and the core values of Honor, Courage and Commitment. Its distinctly ”Navy” flavor was designed to take into account what it means to be a Sailor.

Davis is a 2008 graduate of University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, with a BS degree.

Kristen Hollins (’08) and Matthew Fite tied the knot last summer – June 14, 2008 – at the Spring Haven Mansion in Hendersonville, TN.
