Parent Schedule

Check-in times depend on your need to take placement tests.  If you need to take the tests, please arrive around 30 minutes before the test begins.  If you do not need to take either the English or Math, please arrive at least 30 minutes before the opening session begins.

Get valuable information concerning University housing, telephone and computer access, parking, food service, student fees and financial aid

Investment Fair in the UC Gallery

Individual offices that participated in the Your Investment session will be available to answer your questions. Financial Aid will be in the UC Auditorium and the Bursar’s office will be in there normal location in Fletcher Hall. All other services will be in the UC Gallery.

Student Schedule

You are required to take the placement tests if you scored below a 19 on your English ACT sub score

10:00 am
Math Placement Test in the Tennessee Room (University Center)
We recommend all students take the Math placement exam, unless you have successfully completed a math course through duel enrollment.  If you have questions about your need to take the test, please contact the Orientation office.

Student Services Presentation in the Chattanooga Room (University Center)

Lunch / Small Group Various Locations
Your small group will dismiss from the Chattanooga Room and a voucher will be provided for you.

Advising/Registration in the Chattanooga Room (University Center)
All students will meet with an academic advisor in their department. You must have a full schedule of at least 12hours before leaving Orientation.
