UTC Selects MyStudentBody® to Enhance Comprehensive Alcohol & Drug Strategy

May 11th, 2009

UTC is pleased to offer MyStudentBody®, a comprehensive program that tackles the most relevant health issues on college campuses today including alcohol, drugs, sexual health, tobacco, nutrition, and stress. Using a unique three prong approach, MyStudentBody reaches students, parents, and administrators with information that aims to improve students’ daily lives and overall wellness.

MyStudentBody helps students examine personal beliefs, risk behaviors and consequences, while delivering the distinctive MyStudentBody brand of prevention education through engaging interactive tools, peer stories, and student-friendly informational pieces. MyStudentBody features online courses about alcohol and drugs that are used in schools nationwide as a requirement for first year students. We STRONGLY recommend that first year students complete the MyStudentBody online course about alcohol by the end of the first week of school.

If you complete the course by August 14th, you can bring your certificate to the Oak Street Roast on Cardiac Hill for a FREE T-SHIRT. Just download the information sheet and follow the instructions.

MyStudentBody-Parent gives parents and families information about how they can help students face challenges related to alcohol and drugs head on. Parents are encouraged to visit MyStudentBody-Parent for practical strategies, video conversations, interactive tools, and school specific information to help prepare their students for the transition to college.
