Rec Report – Week of February 23rd, 2015

Intramural Sports Intramural Basketball Playoffs The Intramural Basketball playoffs began last week, and two champions were crowned. In the Sorority Championship Game, the Chi Omega Skulls took on ADPI Blue in McKenzie Arena. ADPI Blue came out on top with a  33 to 27 victory! In the Fraternity Championship Game, BYX played Sigma Chi in McKenzie Arena. BYX came out on top with a 56 to 39 victory! Playoffs

Cheer and Dance   The UTC Cheerleading Team traveled to Orlando, Florida on January 16-19, 2015 to compete in a national cheerleading competition.  This is the first year in the history of UTC that a team has been represented in the competition.  The team placed 6th at the national competition and we should congratulate all the students on the team on a job well done!! Outdoors Howard’s Waterfall Cave: 1/23  Join us as we go adventuring underground into a local cave on Friday, January 23rd. You’ll get the chance to re-create childhood memories as we crawl, get a little muddy, explore, and even make clay sculptures in the sculpture room. Aquatics Aqua Fit Aerobic Classes Aqua Fit is a safe and effective workout in the water that reduces impact to joints while developing cardiovascular health, strength, flexibility and endurance. This class is challenging, but promises fun with the high energy music.
