Faculty and Staff Achievements Summer 2013

Jooyong Ahn, Professor of Conducting, Music Guest conducted three youth orchestras in San Isidro, Dolores and Chascomus youth orchestras in Argentina, March 2013. These orchestras are part of well known “el sistema” program which started in Venezuela early 1970s. Taught several master classes to Kyungpook National University and the gifted students of Daegu Center for Students in Daegu, South Korea July, 2013.

Nesli Alp, UC Foundation Professor and Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs and Research, Engineering Management and Technology Presented a paper entitled “The Need for Ergonomic Awareness Within the Workplace” at the 2012 International Annual Conference of the American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM), Virginia Beach, Virginia on October 17-20, 2012.  Paper published in proceedings. Served as a Reviewer for the 2012 International Annual Conference of the American Society for Engineering
