Great News for Night Owls! Expanded Overnight Study Area Now Open

Many thanks to all of the students who completed the Annual Library Survey this past Spring, as well as the SGA members who worked closely with the Library during Finals in the Spring of 2016 to figure out a way to make late-night study better for students.  Your feedback and suggestions were heard, and we are delighted to share the news that one of the most common wishes has been granted.

Library Update as of January 26, 2016

Collections Recovery efforts continue throughout the 1st and Ground floors. Library staff is working with building, insurance, and state professionals to salvage materials and restore operations as quickly as possible. Library Flood Update As of January 21, 2016

As you may be aware, the UTC Library  sustained water damage to its 1st and Ground floors on Monday evening.  Library staff are currently in ‘triage mode’ and still doing initial assessments before developing a full response plan. Here’s the current status of the building and services: Collection Services Print and AV collections, located on 1st and Ground, are unavailable at this time. All new item ordering has been stopped.

Banned Books Week 2015

UTC Library is celebrating Banned Books Week from September 27 – October 3. Visit the Library to see a display of books that have been frequently challenged, pick up a Freedom To Read boomark or pin-on button.
