A forum entitled “Inalienable Rights: Civil Rights and Social Justice” will be presented at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga on Tuesday, October 30, beginning with a reception at 5 p.m. in the Tennessee Room of the UTC University Center, followed by the program in the UTC University Center Auditorium beginning at 5:30. The reception and the program are open to the public.

By Megan Davis, UTC University Relations Intern Hydrocephalus, seen mostly in children and infants, is a medical condition that occurs when there is an excess of cerebrospinal fluid in the cavities of the brain. Some infants are diagnosed while they are still in the womb, which was the case for the daughter of Chara Crowley McLaughen, a UTC alumna. Ema was diagnosed three weeks before she was born.
