The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is asking everyone to Get In The Game and become part of Be The Match Registry, the cell registry that pairs potential donors with patients suffering from blood cancers. Physical therapy professor to receive national honor
Dr. Debbie Ingram will be honored on June 27th at the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Conference 2013 in Salt Lake City. She will be named a Catherine Worthingham Fellow (FAPTA), “the highest honor among the American Physical Therapy Association’s membership categories.”
Electrical engineering lab recognized
UTC’s Relay and Smart Grid laboratory has been recognized by a leading magazine in the power industry, Transmission and Distribution World. The publication highlighted the unique partnerships between UTC and local utilities in attaining the laboratory, begun more than a decade ago by Dr. Ahmed H. Eltom, Professor of Electrical Engineering at UTC.

University raises money for American Heart Association with “Zumbathon”
Andrea Kulesz, UTC student and self confessed “Zumba addict,” didn’t need to think twice about signing up for the Zumbathon that rocked the UTC Aquatics and Recreation Center. She happily danced for a cause as the University partnered with the American Heart Association for the fun charity event in celebration of National Heart Month.
