Jacobo Salazar Jr. will enjoy a Caribbean cruise, a special “thank-you” for his contribution to a successful spring membership drive for WUTC, the public radio station licensed to The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Salazar’s name was entered into a drawing along with all campaign contributors and interested station visitors.
“The radio station collected $125,172 dollars in membership gifts to pay for its programming expenses,” said Dr. John McCormack, WUTC Station Manager.
WUTC, FM-88.1, is the area’s source for programs from National Public Radio. It offers a variety of locally produced musical and informational offerings.
WUTC broadcasts on the radio and, additionally, all of the programming of its two broadcast services is available on-line at wutc.org.
