TAKE FIVE 2015 at UTC to focus on literature of World War I

Executive Women International supports Jean Bradford Memorial Scholarship recipients

Tina Clevenger says it wasn’t too long ago that her young teenagers had no plans to go to college.  The single mom, who had not attended college herself, says her children would talk with her about the kinds of jobs they would pursue after high school. When Clevenger’s marriage ended after 18 years, she enrolled at UTC and began to pursue a business degree with a concentration in management. 

MPA alumna featured in national APA publication

Jenny Park ’11 was recently featured in a national publication by the American Planning Association (APA).  The article “New Planners on the Block” describes Park’s interesting approach to establish more public transportation resources in the Chattanooga area.    She explains in the AMA article. The Master of Public Administration (MPA) alumna was working as a senior planner at the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Agency when the article was published in

Twenty Years to Life

Dr. David Ross recently provided expert testimony in a case in Missouri that led to freedom for a man who had been charged with murder and imprisoned for twenty years.  Ross, UC Foundation Professor in the Department of Psychology at UTC, was assisted by graduate students Joe Jones and Dominick Adkinson.  The story was covered in Tennessee Alumnus.
