Steve Angle named UTC Chancellor

An “accomplished scholar” and “proven team builder” has been named the 17th leader of The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, recommended by UT President Joseph DiPietro and approved by the UT Board of Trustees on Friday, March 1, 2013. Dr. Steve Angle, senior vice president at Wright State University, will officially become the new chancellor of UTC on July 1, 2013.

UTC will delay opening until 10 a.m. on Friday, January 25

Due to the threat of inclement weather, UTC will delay opening until 10 a.m. on Friday, January 25, 2013. Faculty, staff, and students should report to where they would regularly be at time of opening. As conditions develop throughout the morning, watch for updated information. Remember, be aware of conditions in your area and use your own discretion about travel. Faculty and staff should contact their supervisors and students

VW job application site at Lupton Library

UTC is serving as a job application service site for the new Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga. All potential job applicants who are visiting campus are welcomed to the Lupton Library. This application process at UTC is offered online to anyone seeking a VW production team member job who does not have access to a computer or who may need help filling out the application.
