Costume and set design provided for three operas

Students, faculty, in UTC Theatre work in Italy When the curtain was raised on three different operas presented in centuries-old theaters around the Italian countryside during the summer of 2014, patrons saw the work of three UTC Theatre students and one faculty member.  Stephanie Henderson, Costume Designer and lecturer at UTC, took two students from UTC to help with costume design, and a third to work on set design.

Chi Omega at UTC named Chapter of Excellence

Chi Omega at UTC was recently recognized as a Chapter of Excellence at the organization’s national conference. UTC’s Delta Alpha chapter received high scores in the areas of overall chapter GPA, retention, and campus involvement. “The Chapter of Excellence Award is the highest honor a chapter can get. The award is given to the chapters who receive 85 percent or higher consistently each month throughout a two-year time period

UTC highlighted in Tennessee Alumnus Magazine roadtrip

Brock Scholars present at undergraduate research conferences

This year, Brock Scholars students went to two conferences for the first time, the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) and the Southern Regional Honors Council (SRHC).

Mocs Bass Anglers reel in a whopper, snag the win in final hour

Lance Geren, an Engineering Technology Management student, and Robbie Moore, a business major, won the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series Eastern Regional on Watts Barr Lake, part of the five-day BASSfest event.
