Dr. Cathie Smith honored with national and state awards

Dr. Cathie Smith, UC Foundation Associate Professor and Vanderbilt Professor in the UTC Department of Physical Therapy, has been elected to receive the National Association of Neonatal Therapist’s inaugural Pioneer Award for Neonatal Therapy. The award was created to honor neonatal occupational therapists, physical therapists and speech-language pathologists who have contributed tirelessly to establish and advance the specialized field of neonatal therapy. Chattanooga Mocs Softball concludes 2015 season

Congratulations to the Chattanooga Mocs Softball team!  UTC won the Southern Conference Tournament and advanced to regionals for the second consecutive year. The season ended with an 8-2 loss to the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.   Head coach Frank Reed says the loss is not indicative of the way the team normally plays.

Two graduate students receive Sigma Xi awards

Rhodes Scholar graduates from UTC

Robert Fisher, Brock Scholar, Rhodes Scholar, Truman Scholar, and two-term SGA President has graduated from UTC with a Bachelor of Science: Political Science and a minor in history and in Africana Studies.
