Kizza wins Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship for Ugandan Project

Dr. Joseph Kizza has been named to the Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program (ADF) to provide “Teaching, Mentoring and Graduate Research Supervision to Strengthen the Digital Forensics Program” at the Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU). Kizza, Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, will leave for Uganda in June 2015, stay for seven weeks and return to the United States in August. ADF is open

Occupational therapy trains students to help patients perform day-to-day tasks, whether they’re recovering from injuries or have developmental or cognitive disabilities affecting their motor skills, emotions or behavior.

University community honors Luther Masingill

Dr. Betsy Alderman, Head of the UTC Department of Communication, remembers local broadcasting legend Luther Masingill. Known simply as “Luther,” Masingill began his decades-long career at Engel Stadium and was on air during both the attacks on Pearl Harbor and on September 11.
