Spring brings music to campus

Do you enjoy hearing string, brass, wind or percussion instruments? Are choruses more your taste? Do you enjoy jazz, classical, or more modern music? The UTC Department of Music will present a wide range of concerts, recitals, and performances, showcasing a number of different styles and instruments. Performances will be free and open to the public, with seating given on a first come first served basis.

UTC PT Department visits Tennessee State Capitol; presents at Las Vegas conference

UTC students, faculty, and Chattanooga clinicians recently visited the Tennessee State Capitol for Physical Therapy Day on the Hill, where they met with state legislators and sat in on a session of the House Health Committee.  The event was hosted by the Tennessee Physical Therapy Association (TPTA).

Chancellor delivers State of the University

Hamilton County Mayor Jim Coppinger called UTC “a vital part of Hamilton County for more than 125 years” and he thanked Chancellor Steve Angle for his leadership.

“Moc Madness” brings Concert Series to UTC

The first annual “Moc Madness” spring concert will be held on March 21, at 7:30 p.m., at the McKenzie Arena.

Sponsored by The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Campus Activities Board (CAB), this year’s performers are headliner Andy Grammer and opening act The Ready Set.

Students enjoy second annual ‘I love UTC’ Week

It was a week of blue and gold fun! Organized by several student organizations, the second annual ‘I love UTC’ week featured a pep rally, door decorating contest, intramural basketball games, and more school-spirited activities. The organizations who helped with the planning of events include Campus Activities Board, Residence Hall Association, Student Government Association, Student Veteran’s Organization, Student Alumni Council, Future Alumni Members, Student Foundation, Lambda Chi Alpha, and Campus Recreation
