Chattanooga Chapter of EWI contributes to scholarship fund

The Chattanooga Chapter of Executive Women International (EWI) recently presented a check for $11,293 to Chancellor Roger Brown in support of the Jean Bradford Memorial Scholarship at UTC. Established in 1996 by the Chattanooga Chapter of Executive Women International in memory of former EWI member Jean (Mrs. James) Bradford, the Jean Bradford Memorial Scholarship assists women, particularly displaced homemakers and single mothers, who return to school with a plan:

Newly named UT President Joe DiPietro visits campus

Former Interim UT President Jan Simek called newly named UT President Joe DiPietro “the right man for the job” when he introduced the 24th president to UTC faculty, staff, students and friends of the University.

UTeaChattanooga inspires teachers of math and science

A new initiative at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga created to prepare students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM education) for secondary teaching careers will receive nearly $1.8 million from the State of Tennessee.
