The Cress Gallery of Art celebrates a new semester with a display of student artwork for the the 2013 UTC Department of Art Annual Juried Student Exhibition. The exhibition runs through January 31. The gallery is open to the public and admission is free.
The UTC Cress Gallery of Art’s current exhibition, Matthew Deleget’s “Pictures at an Exhibition” has received a review in ArtForum magazine, long respected and widely known as the decisive voice in the field of contemporary art.
Selections II: The UTC Permanent Collection of Art will be on exhibit through Friday, July 27, at the Cress Gallery of Art. Gallery summer hours are 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Cress is closed on weekends.
The Cress Gallery of Art is hosting “Okay Mountain” from Wednesday, February 8 to Tuesday, March 20. Blending humor with irony, Okay Mountain creates work that weaves an engaging yet dead serious commentary about our contemporary existence.
