This year’s Homecoming was a ‘Mocbuster’ with a lot of fun events and a big football win. The Mocs beat the Virginia Military Institute Keydets 55-7. The Mocs had a season-high 555 yards of total offense while scoring the program’s most points since the 59-56 win over Appalachian State on October 30, 2004. Taking a cue from Chattanooga’s storied manufacturing history, this year’s homecoming theme is “Made in Chattanooga.” Plenty of fun events for students, alumni, and the community are planned to lead up to the big game on Saturday, October 12, when the football Mocs take on the Furman Paladins at 6 p.m. at Finley Stadium.
