The Joseph F. Decosimo Student Success Center is the Gary. W. Rollins College of Business\u2019s central hub for student support. It is intentionally designed to guide business students from their first day on campus through graduation and beyond. The Decosimo Success Center brings together academic advising, career development and experiential learning in one place. Students can access the resources they need without bouncing across campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every business major is paired with a dedicated academic advisor who takes the time to understand their goals, learning style and career interests. Advisors work closely with students to build thoughtful academic plans, choose the right classes, explore different business pathways and stay on track toward graduation, even helping them navigate challenges along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Decosimo Success Center also plays a major role in preparing students for the professional world. Career development specialists offer one-on-one coaching, r\u00e9sum\u00e9 and cover-letter support, mock interviews, and ongoing career planning that starts during a student\u2019s first semester. Students can participate in company visits, employer info sessions, and networking programs designed specifically for business majors. For those wanting real-world experience, the Center helps students secure internships and job-shadowing opportunities so they can apply classroom learning directly to real business problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The space itself is intentionally built to support both academic growth and career readiness. Students can access team study rooms for group projects, private interview rooms for virtual or in-person interviews, collaborative work areas, and a comfortable student lounge that becomes a home base between classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
