As we continue to strive for academic excellence across our campus, I want to remind you about two important surveys that are helping shape the future of UTC and enhancing your experience as a faculty member. Your voice is essential, and I encourage you to take part if you haven’t already.
Gallup Campus Survey
The Gallup Campus Survey was sent in an email to faculty on Jan. 27 and is available through Feb. 24. This confidential, three-minute survey focuses on free speech and viewpoint diversity on campus, giving us valuable insights into how we can continue building a campus environment that reflects our shared commitment to civility and academic freedom. If you haven’t yet participated, I urge you to take a moment to share your opinions.
COACHE Faculty Job Satisfaction Survey
During the week of Feb. 17, you will receive an email invitation to participate in the COACHE Faculty Job Satisfaction Survey, conducted in partnership with the Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE) in the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
This survey is designed exclusively for faculty and provides a comprehensive assessment of job satisfaction compared to our peer institutions. Your response to this assessment will guide our efforts in enhancing your experience as a faculty member, retaining and supporting outstanding colleagues, and strengthening our ability to attract top scholars to UTC. The survey will be available through Apr. 7.
As UT System President Randy Boyd shared in his recent message, your feedback is valuable to creating a thriving campus environment rooted in civility, academic freedom and a strong, thriving faculty community.
Your voice matters, and we are grateful for your dedication to UTC.
Please note: The survey link will be sent from noreply@qemailserver.com. Please check your spam folder or review your email preferences if you do not immediately see the email in your inbox.
