Access to campus buildings was restricted when all classes were moved online and the University complied with shelter-in-place mandates in response to COVID-19.
As of Aug. 3, when all faculty and staff are expected to resume working on campus, buildings will be re-opened and remain unlocked during standard hours of operation.
The one exception to the resumption of standard building access is the UTC Library.
The Library’s doors will remain locked full-time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the fall semester, but the building will be accessible via swipe-card access to faculty, staff and students during the following hours of operation:
Sunday: Noon to 10 p.m.
Monday through Thursday: 7:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Friday: 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday: Noon to 5 p.m.
The Library will not offer overnight study in the fall semester.
