Your Voice Matters! An Open Session with the UT-System Title IX Commission – Your voice matters! University of Tennessee President Joe DiPietro announced in July 2016 the appointment of a Title IX Commission to review the Title IX programs across the University of Tennessee system. As a part of this review, the Commission is visiting the Chattanooga campus and hosting an open listening session for all UTC students, faculty, and staff, on Monday, April 10th from 12 PM to 1:30 PM at the Signal Mountain Room in the University Center. There will be FREE pizza and drinks for those in attendance! Members of the commission include Washington Attorney Stanley Brand; University of Connecticut Title IX Coordinator and Office of Institutional Equity Associate Vice President Elizabeth Conklin; Sports Law Associates President Janet Judge; and Nashville-area Attorney Bill Morelli. The Commission wants to hear feedback and thoughts from the campus community regarding UTC’s Title IX-related policies, procedures, resources, support for students and any other related issues or concerns on the minds of students, staff, and faculty related to Title IX (including sexual misconduct, relationship violence, and stalking) on our campus.
