On February 19, 2020, Dr. Mark Johnson addressed a crowd of students much younger than those enrolled in his UTC history classes.
That morning, Dr. Johnson visited a class of kindergarteners at Brown Academy and read them the Magic Tree House book Abe Lincoln at Last. He reported that the students “were very impressed by my height and that Abraham Lincoln was just as tall as me, but he had a hat that made him even taller.”
The students have already requested that Dr. Johnson return to read to them again.
