All regular (benefits-eligible) employees must complete a Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Part I form by October 31, 2016. The only exemptions are those new employees since January 1, 2016 whom have met the 30 day OID submission requirement. All regular employees will now be required to complete the Part I form annually by October 31st.

After completing the form, users will be asked to enter the e-mail address of their immediate supervisor. Your completed form will then be routed electronically through the approval process.

The Office of Human Resources is offering open sessions to provide individualized assistance with the online process and to answer any questions you may have about the procedure. These sessions will be offered on September 22nd 9:00 – 10:00 and October 13th from 11:00 – 12:00 in the Library computer lab. The Office of Human Resources will host three Workers Compensation campus wide information sessions in the University Center, Raccoon Mountain Room. The State of Tennessee has implemented financial penalties that will be charged to the department for non-compliance. It is HIGHLY recommended that each department have a representative in attendance to understand reporting procedures and how to avoid penalties.

Have you ever thought about what would happen if you had an unexpected illness or injury that caused you to be unable to work? You still need a paycheck, but you can’t work…then your sick leave and annual leave are used up? Are you in the Sick Leave Bank?
The UTC Sick Leave Bank is a common pool of hours to which staff and 12-month faculty donate some of their accumulated leave. The sick leave bank shall provide emergency sick leave to member employees who have suffered disability due to unplanned personal illness, injury, or quarantine and who have exhausted their compensatory time and personal, sick, and annual leave balances.
