Special Note
All UTC faculty, staff, and students have access to the VPN. By default only UTC’s publicly available services and the Internet are accessible. If you require access to privileged services, you must request an account elevation.

Troubleshooting
When trying to connect, if the GlobalProtect app never connects and eventually says ‘Still Working’ then the system extension was blocked during installation and never allowed. (See step three under the first time directions above.) To allow this extension after the fact, follow the steps below.
- Open the ‘System Preferences’ app
- Click ‘Security & Privacy’
- Click the ‘General’ tab at the top
- At the bottom you may see a message that states ‘System software from developer “Palo Alto Networks” was blocked from loading
- If so, click the ‘Allow’ button and reboot your computer
- If not, reinstall the GlobalProtect following the directions above. If the system extension does not prompt during installation, follow these troubleshooting steps again starting at number 1.
