EDO Planning – Individual Objectives

 

Entering & Submitting Individual Objectives

  1. Log-in to Digital Measures
  2. Select “Workflow” at the top of the page.
  3. Select the EDO Planning task under the “Inbox” heading.
  4. Complete the fields provided. You are able to work within this page during multiple sessions, just select “Save” before you navigate away. Saving often will ensure your information is not lost.
  5. When you feel your objectives are ready for review, select “Route” then “Send to Department Head for Review” at the top of the page.

 

Department Head Review and Signature

  1. Log-in to Digital Measures
  2. Select “Workflow” at the top of the page
  3. Select the EDO Planning task under the “Inbox” heading
  4. The first section of the page will display the faculty’s completed portion of the workflow, including their yearly individual objectives.
  • If you wish for the faculty member to make revisions or edits select “Route” at the top of the page then select “Send Back to Faculty for Objectives Report.” A new window will pop-up providing you a space to give feedback for edits and to assign a new deadline for revision.
  1. Below the faculty objectives, several boxes are provided for the Department Head to comment on the Faculty member’s yearly objectives.
  2. Next, select if the goals are appropriate for rank. The “Additional Comments” box below provides you with a space to provide pertinent information.
  3. Following this section, read the instructions and type your name in the provided field to digitally sign the document.
  4. Review the page to ensure accuracy. Once you have completed the form, select “Route” at the top of the page. Then select “Send to Faculty for Signature.”

Faculty Member Final Review & Signature

  1. Log-in to Digital Measures
  2. Select “Workflow” at the top of the page
  3. Select the EDO Planning task under the “Inbox” heading
  4. The top of the page will include your initial submission, scroll down past this section to locate your department head’s comments.
  5. Once you have read these comments, you may download them for your records by selecting the “Download” button at the top right of the page.
  6. Type your name in the box provided to digitally sign and acknowledge.
  7. Select “Route” at the top of the page.
  8. Select “Send to Faculty Records Archive
    • Note: Please allow 7 buisness days for your Objectives and Department Head comments to appear on your Digital Measures Profile (Located under the “Planning and Performance” page)

Revising Yearly Objectives

A Department Head or Faculty Member may request to revise one’s individual objectives  before the performance review stage. To initialize this, please contact Academic-Affairs@utc.edu with the individual’s name that wishes to update their previously entered objectives. The cutoff for revising yearly objectives is October 15th.
