|Service Description: The Office of Information Technology works to improve operational efficiency for the university through business process improvement. Business process improvement helps to increase customer satisfaction, reduce processing time, and minimize operational costs. Primary activities include analyzing current processes, making suggestions, and assisting with implementing new functionality.
Using facilitation techniques, IT analysts meet with users to talk through a current process and use tools to draw diagrams to provide a visual representation of a desired process. A current process could be done manually but with a desire to automate the process. We review the people, technology and end-to-end processing required to achieve a successful result.
