Integrated Healthcare Conference set for April 6

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s Get Healthy Project grant is hosting its first annual conference entitled “Exploring the Mental and Physical Health Needs of the Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) Population in an Integrated Care Setting” on Saturday, April 6, 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. The conference will be held at the UTC University Center and will feature speakers from the Yale School of Medicine, Hogg Foundation for Mental

Lady Mocs make 11th NCAA Tournament appearance

The Lady Mocs made their 11th appearance to the NCAA Tournament after an exciting season. The team was matched to play six-seeded Nebraska. The 11-seed women’s basketball team couldn’t hold off a late Nebraska rally Saturday evening at Reed Arena on the Texas A&M campus, falling 73-59 to the Cornhuskers in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament.

Reinventing Radio: An Evening with Ira Glass

Ira Glass, host and producer of the public radio show This American Life, will deliver the final lecture in the 2012-13 Hunter Lecture Series on Sunday, April 7, at the Tivoli Theatre.  This free event will begin at 4 p.m.; doors open at 2:30 p.m.  It is open to the public.
