The UTC College of Business presents the Symposium on Healthcare and Analytics in Research and Practice (SHARP) on Thursday and Friday, October 16-17, at the Chattanooga Marriot Downtown. SHARP 2014 will bring together academic professionals and industry representatives who share a common passion for application, research and educational innovation in the field of analytics.
In that spirit of open innovation, SHARP offers the opportunity to learn from, contribute your knowledge to and brainstorm with the industry’s key movers and shakers. SHARP 2014 will focus on the application of analytics to healthcare, smart grid and other cutting-edge areas related to analytics.
Keynote speakers include Bill Franks, Chief Analytics Officer, Teradata Corporation; Dr. Katherine Frase, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, IBM Public Sector; Michael P. Haydock, IBM Fellow and Chief Scientist, GBS; and Dr. Ramesh Sharda, Conoco Philips Chair and Regents Professor of MSIS, Director, Institute for Research in Information Systems, and Director, Ph.D. in Business for Executives Program.
