Out of 41 accredited nursing schools in Tennessee, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga ranks No. 5 on the list, according to a national website.
Nursingprogress.org noted that theUTC School of Nursing’s Simulation Center, which includes emergency room, intensive care, operating room and anesthesia settings, gives students hands-on practice before they graduate and enter the workforce.
The website, which contains information about nursing schools nationwide, bases its rankings on such criteria as academic quality, graduation and retention rates, affordability and reputation.
