A group of students from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s College of Engineering and Computer Science recently made a very successful trip to a national conference.
Each of the 14 students who attended the 48th annual National Society of Black Engineers conference in California returned with either an internship or job offer.
The students and the companies that made the offers are:

- Adam Heinrich — Wright Brothers Construction
- Ashkon Hemmati-Arass — Mesa Associates
- Katy Jackson — Sanofi
- Alexis Lopez — BASF
- Julianna McReynolds — Shaw Industries
- Hannah Morgan — TVA
- Josh O’Dell — Wacker Chemical Corp.
- Will Parker — Kubota Corp.
- Abbey Taylor — TVA
- Nolan Umali — Muller Co.
