Tennessee Valley Corridor Summit returns to Chattanooga, UTC will cohost event

One of the Southeast’s longest running science and technology conferences will return to Chattanooga June 4-5, on the campus of The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC).

Several faculty members at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga were honored for their achievements.

Chancellor delivers State of the University

Hamilton County Mayor Jim Coppinger called UTC “a vital part of Hamilton County for more than 125 years” and he thanked Chancellor Steve Angle for his leadership.

UTC named among best universities in the South

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is ranked once again in the Top Tier of Southern Regional Universities in U.S. News and World Report’s 2014 college rankings.

SimCenter part of White House high speed internet initiative

Officials from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s SimCenter: National Center for Computational Engineering, SimCenter Enterprises, Inc., and Chattanooga’s Gig City initiative were on hand in Washington when the White House launched U.S. Ignite, a national innovation initiative for developing and deploying public sector applications and services on ultra-fast networks.
