Banner computer system goes live October 5
“This is the beginning of a whole new era of student service at UTC.” This was the sentiment expressed by Yancy Freeman, associate vice chancellor for enrollment management at UT Chattanooga, when the campus officially launched the undergraduate and graduate admissions component of the new Sungard Banner student information system on Monday, October 5.
UTC students engage in Mayfield tomato fight
Chattanooga and Knoxville food banks were the winners when 300 students from UTC and UTK raised 1,200 pounds of food by getting dirty in a tomato fight sponsored by Mayfield Farm and Nursery in Athens. The non-perishable food items were collected as entry donations at the event.
