Former Interim Chancellor Grady Bogue honored at Blue and Gold Memorial

For a man whose favorite meal of the day was breakfast, it seems fitting that the tree planted on campus in honor of former interim chancellor Dr. Grady Bogue has a great view of the sunrise over Lookout Mountain. The dedication of the tree took place at this year’s Blue and Gold Memorial Service.

Campus mourns passing of Interim Chancellor Bogue

Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga mourn the passing of Dr. Grady Bogue Wednesday morning. Bogue served as interim chancellor of the UTC campus from September 2012 until July 2013.

Dr. Bogue is currently Professor of Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Tennessee (1991 to present).   He served for eleven years as Chancellor of Louisiana State University in Shreveport (1980-1991), served for one year as Interim Chancellor of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, and was named Chancellor Emeritus of LSU Shreveport by the LSU Board of Trustees in 1991.   He received the B.
