For the first time in the history of the UTC Racing Mocs, the team placed first in the suspension and traction category during the 2013 Baja Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International competition held at the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York.
UTC engineering students placed 10th in design, 16th in maneuverability and 22nd in cost at the 2013 Baja Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International competitions held at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. UTC students were double trouble for competitors in this year’s Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Mini Baja competitions. For the first year, UTC had two teams build off-road vehicles and place in intercollegiate racing competitions.
