UTC Theatre and Speech Department receives national accreditation

After a rigorous evaluation process, UTC Theatre and Speech Department has received an associate members accreditation from the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST).

UTC Theatre presents The Robber Bridegroom

The Robber Bridegroom, the final production of the UTC Theatre Department’s 2011 spring season, is no ordinary love story. Set in 18th century Mississippi, this musical comedy, based on a novella by Eudora Welty, includes an eccentric cast of characters and bluegrass music. Dead Man’s Cell Phone opens October 1

The UTC Department of Theatre and Speech offers Dead Man’s Cell Phone, written by Sara Ruhl and directed by Theatre Professor Gaye Jeffers (read about Jeffers’ new play).
