Looking back: 2019 was filled with important and interesting developments at UTC

  Remodeling, Retrofitting, Beautifying Construction continues at a brisk pace at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The remodeling of Vine Street is complete, and Oak Street remodeling is nearly finished. Guerry Hall is open again after its renovation and is now home to the Honors College. The Fine Arts Building is under renovation; Lupton Library is being totally retrofitted as the new home of the College of Arts

New year, new look for campus: What you need to know to get around

It might mean a few more steps on your pedometer until the projects are complete. You’ll want to allow a little extra time when maneuvering through and around campus.

Beautification project for Vine and Oak streets is underway

A project that started Sept. 3 will beautify Vine Street between Heritage Plaza and Douglas Street. Once the Vine Street project is completed, a similar redesign of Oak Street will begin. The two streets will become exclusively pedestrian except for emergency vehicles and special event support. As planned, work on the streets is scheduled to take about 270 days and will remove the old asphalt on both streets and
