Washington, D.C.<\/strong>\u2014Congressman Chuck Fleischmann has successfully secured $3 million in federal funding to advance the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Translational Research Program. This significant investment underscores UTC\u2019s commitment to pioneering research and innovation that directly benefits the community and the region.<\/p>\n

The funding, awarded as part of a federal appropriations package, will support UTC\u2019s efforts to bridge the gap between scientific discovery and real-world application.\u00a0The\u00a0Translational Research Program at UTC focuses on translating groundbreaking research into practical solutions.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am proud to champion investments that strengthen our region\u2019s future. This $3 million in federal funding for UTC\u2019s Translational Research Program will empower our university to turn cutting-edge research into real solutions that benefit Chattanooga, the entire state of Tennessee, and our great nation. Supporting innovation and higher education is critical to creating jobs, advancing technology, and improving lives right here at home,\u201d said Congressman Fleischmann.<\/p>\n
