Sponsored Projects Policy Spotlight: Travel
The UT Travel Policy provides information on current university travel regulations including reimbursement rates for in-state and out-of-state travel, travel fiscal policy, information on international travel, travel forms, and mileage reimbursement rates (recently updated to $0.70/mi). Note that with sponsored program budgets, the most restrictive policy, be it the sponsor’s or UT’s, always applies. The ORSP Pre-Award team can help you determine which policy to follow for your proposal budget. Live DASH training and support opportunities are available at https://finance.tennessee.edu/travel/.
