Sequoyah Nuclear Plant Emergency Management Planning
Sequoyah Nuclear Plant is TVA’s most productive electricity-generating facility, helping to keep utility rates low in Tennessee. Those rewards do not come without risk, however. Come hear from Mark Ericson, Fixed Nuclear Facility Planner with the Hamilton County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security. Mr. Ericson will give us a basic understanding of nuclear power generation at Sequoyah, and how the county and other partners are prepared to protect us and respond in case of an incident.
