After losing her job of 10 years due to COVID -19, Briana decided to take a chance on herself. The proud mother of a 5th Grader, she is also a disability advocate, gardener, and of course a foodie. The daughter of a US Army Veteran, she spent her early years traveling base to base country to country solidifying her passion for exploration. Spring Course Offering: MUS 3200 African American Music: An Introduction
MUS 3200 African American Music: An Introduction meets MWF from 2-2:50pm in Spring 2023. It is a General Education course, satisfying the Visual and Performing Arts subcategory of Fine Arts and Humanities. It also counts toward the Africana Studies minor. Why it might interest you: History and genres of African American music are studied, from slavery to hip-hop and rap. You will learn how the music influences society and how society influences the music. You will lead discussions about what interests you in the readings and share your favorite music in class. You are in control of your success in the course because all assignment requirements are made transparent ahead of time. There are NO EXAMS. Click HERE to learn more about the Africana Studies Minor. The Department of Physical Therapy offers UTC students, faculty, and staff free physical therapy services in the Pro Bono Student Faculty Physical Therapy Clinic. November 10: Last day to withdraw from any Part of Term 2 course on a course-by-course basis with a grade of W (one or more courses); Online withdrawal available through 11:59 P.M. Thursday, November 10
November 1 – December 5: Students who wish to withdraw from the university (withdraw from all classes) may submit a Late Semester Withdrawal form.
