ANNOUNCEMENTS

FIREWORKS ON CAMPUS – THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2025

On Thursday, September 18, at approximately 8:00 p.m., there will be a fireworks show launched from Lot 7 between Maclellan Gym and the Mocs Alumni Drive Garage. This special event is part of the Division of Advancement’s Light Upon a Hill Celebration for donors to the university. The fireworks show will last approximately 5 minutes. The area around Lot 7, including portions of Douglas Street and Mocs Alumni Drive, will be closed as a safety precaution 12 p.m. – 9 p.m. that day. Members of the campus community are welcome to watch the fireworks show, but please maintain a safe distance from the launch site. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause, and we appreciate your understanding and flexibility for this special occasion.
