Members of both the campus and surrounding communities turned out for the first of what will be an ongoing series of learning opportunities and information sessions organized by the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s Artificial Intelligence Initiative, also known as CH-AI.
Vanderbilt University Professor Jules White, a highly regarded expert in generative AI, led three sessions over two days on artificial intelligence’s growing capabilities and on using them to save time, boost productivity and more.

White is a professor of computer science and senior advisor to the VU chancellor for generative AI in education and enterprise solutions. Online courses on ChatGPT and prompt engineering that he teaches via the Coursera platform have been completed by hundreds of thousands of participants.
