The Chancellor’s Office is seeking a Coordinator of Administrative Projects and Services (Administrative Professional 1 – MR10) to join their team.
The Coordinator of Administrative Projects and Services serves as primary support to the Chief of Staff (CoS). The Coordinator provides coordination for many issues that come to the Chancellor’s Office, handles a wide range of matters of institutional importance on behalf of the CoS, and provides significant oversight of office operations, including supervision of interns, graduate assistants, student workers, ambassadors, and volunteers. This includes providing confidential counsel and acting on behalf of the CoS in a manner reflecting the Chancellor’s Office priorities and the campus’ mission, goals, and values.
The Coordinator may represent the CoS and/or Chancellor’s Office in selected internal and external interactions with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners; will manage and advise the CoS on day-to-day operations ensuring efficiency and effectiveness and optimizing use of available resources; and will manage and coordinate the CoS’s calendar. On behalf of the CoS, the Coordinator will help ensure linkages with ELT support staff as well as project stakeholders across campus. The Coordinator will maintain oversight for multiple ongoing projects supporting the Chancellor’s Office agenda to ensure that all are effectively moving according to plan.
