Greetings UTC Faculty and Staff,
Please join me in congratulating the latest group of faculty and staff to apply for and receive Experiential Learning Designation for their classes and opportunities! The growing list of over 200 designated classes and experiences can be found at www.utc.edu/beyond, along with more information about the Designation process.
Designated experiential learning classes will also be identifiable by the Beyond the Classroom attribute code in the class schedule, and Non-Academic Credit Bearing Experiences. Spring deadlines for designation applications are February 24 and March 24.

The applicants listed above are great resources if you are interested in applying for designation for a class or non-credit-bearing experience. Also, please feel free to contact me with questions or if you would like to discuss how to develop an experiential opportunity for your students and the resources available here at UTC for doing so. Students completing the experiential elements of designated opportunities earn points toward recognition at the semester level, as well as ThinkAchieve Graduate Recognition, among other benefits.
Thank you for all you are doing to benefit our students, and best wishes for the beginning of the Spring Semester.
