A message from UTC Transportation Services
UT Safety and Risk Management has created an online portal for vehicle accident and incident reporting.
This applies to accidents or damage while driving a university owned vehicle, a rental vehicle or a personal owned vehicle while on official university business. The attached instructions review steps to take after being involved in an accident as well as the information needed to report the accident to the State of Tennessee Call Center (855-253-0629) when a vehicle NOT owned by UT is also involved. Note: if the Call Center is not contacted, a fine of $1,000 may apply.

Pictures, police reports, etc. can be uploaded to the report.
If the UT-owned vehicle needs repair, please send an email to motorpool@utc.edu with the vehicle number, date of accident/damage, vehicle location and drivers name.
This information will also be on Transportation Services website – www.utc.edu/motorpool Please navigate to the “Accident or Roadside Assistance” page.
