Understanding your Individual Conflict Dynamics Profile
Wednesday, May 8th 2-3:30 pm Online (also offered June 4th 11-12:30)
From the Office of UT Ombuds
Have you felt uncomfortable in conflict? Feel like you want to lash out or avoid the situation altogether? Most people would say yes, and that is absolutely normal. Did you know that not all conflicts lead to destructive outcomes? Instead, many conflicts—when managed well—can lead you and others to growth, innovation, and improvement. Starting two weeks before the workshop, registrants will receive an email invitation to take the Conflict Dynamics Profile (CDP) survey for free . Complete this 20-25 minute online survey no later than the Sunday BEFORE the workshop. (You will receive your digital survey profile report & a Zoom link the morning of the session). Register Here

Self-Care: Small Changes for Positive Results
Tuesday, May 21st 3-4pm Online
Optum
Many people feel that they have to put other people’s needs before their own. But putting aside our own needs is a trap we can easily fall into with aging parents, young children or dependents relying on us. When we think about it our health and happiness are the basic foundations of our life and – just like a house – if the foundations are wobbly so too is the rest of the structure. Once you’ve grasped this fact you then turn to: ‘but when do I have time!?’. We get it. In this module we address both these issues; the need for self-care and the time you can find to do it.
