Updates and news for the week of June 14 – June 20, 2022

Welcome to the new UTC Campus Weekly e-newsletter, which will be distributed every Tuesday to all faculty, staff and students. This newsletter will feature stories about the UTC community, information about things you need to know around campus, and events featured on our online master calendar.

With this new communications tool in place, the Division of Communications and Marketing will be helping reduce the number of mass emails sent to campus. The majority of items previously distributed via UTCINFO and UTCNEWS listserv emails will now be housed on either the University’s master calendar or the UTC Campus Weekly page.

Tucker Berry and 31 other students are orientation leaders this summer. Berry figures he’s in the same spot as brand-new freshmen.

“I would say I’m sort of on the same playing field as the incoming freshmen because I’ve never been to one or seen one. I’m very excited,” said Berry, a junior in public law and a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Chattanooga.
