The technology revolution has brought a time of change to higher education. Last year, our campus undertook a budget rebalancing process to provide funding for strategic investment and to provide a reserve should the Tennessee Promise have a negative impact on our enrollment in the fall of 2015. Although the process was difficult at times, it has provided the required flexibility to continue operations as normal even with a decrease of 165 Student FTE.

We are now beginning the budget planning process for fiscal year 2016-2017 earlier than in the past to allow for additional input and planning. Please keep in mind that all funding ideas and requests should align with the goals of our strategic plan and those of UT President Joe DiPietro’s Budget Advisory Group.
